About Chance Brown

Chance began his career in real estate by working for one of the largest homebuilders in the US. During his time there, whether as a salesperson or in management, Chance was driven by a passion to help and educate people.

Chance is the Broker/Owner of CB&A, Realtors in Houston, TX. He is a graduate of the Texas Realtors Leadership Program, a recipient of the NRG “20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate” award, and Fort Bend County Business Journal’s 20 Under 40 Executives. Chance is honored to have received the Omega Tau Rho Award for service to the real estate industry. In 2017, Chance was named Realtor of the Year for the Houston Association of Realtors.

His brokerage has been named the #1 Best Place to Work in Houston for six straight years by the Houston Business Journal and has landed in the top five in the Houston Chronicle’s Top Workplace awards every year it has been open. In 2019, CB&A, Realtors was named one of Houston’s Fastest Growing 100 Companies by the Houston Business Journal, and in 2021, CB&A, Realtors made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies in the US.

Chance is also proud to serve or have served the Realtor community and property owners in Texas as a Trustee of the Texas Association of Realtors Political Action Committee (TREPAC), member of the Board of Directors for the Houston Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He has served on several Advisory Groups at the Houston Association of Realtors. Chance is also licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission to teach CE and QE courses.

Chance has appeared in print or in person as a speaker for RIS Media, Inman News, the Houston Chronicle, Houston Agent Magazine, Houston Community Newspapers, Houston Business Journal, the Residential Real Estate Council, and others. He hosts a weekly podcast called Top 5 to help real estate agents get actionable ways to build their business from industry experts and thought leaders.

Chance is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and lives in Tomball, TX with his wife and two children. When not working, he enjoys reading, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends. Chance is a Life Member and Committeeman of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, The 100 Club, Sam Houston State University Alumni Association, where he served on the Board of Directors and works with several non-profit organizations with the CB&A Foundation.
